My practice has primarily been based in drawing and has shifted into painting in the last 18 months. I am interested in the cognitive processes that happen through the action of drawing and painting. The mind and body cannot be separated during productive action. 

 

My practice is informed by experience, that to which I carry with me and that to which I encounter. My mark making is self-generating which aligns with intention, intuition and impulse. I am both an artist and a teacher and see these two practices as informative and equally important.
